Avatar Making

Introduction
In graphics we had the task of turning one of our pictures into a avatar. To do this we need a decent photo of ourselves and used Photoshop.

Step One. 

The first step that we needed to do was to make our skin blue. We did this by adjusting the colours to give it a blue look. At first it was hard to get the right colour blue that still make the lips and eyes look okay. 







Step Two.

The next step was to add some cool avatar eyes. I did this buy adding some yellow/green circles to the eyes to make the avatar eye colour. I also added a few darker stripes to them to add texture and make them look better. I added the black circles to the middle for the pupil and this made the eyes stand out more.






Step Three.

The next step was to add white markings to my face. I used the paint brush tool with white and changed the opacity. It was fun to pick a pattern and was cool that I was up to me on how I wanted to look.











Step Four.

Step four was to add white dots to my face that went along the faint white lines. Again I used the paint brush and changed the opacity.










Step five - Final.

The final step was to add an avatar background and to give myself some avatar hair. I found it hard to find some that went with my position so I just changed my hair colour to red because it looked good with the background and went with the theme. I added some yellow and red feathers to make it look better.
